My name is Olga Sidorenko,
I am a Brussels based UX designer.
Helpful to know:
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Visual Design from Kuban State University, Russia, and I studied Psychology for 4 years at the Baltic Psychology and Management Institute, Latvia.
I transitioned to UX design from about 5 years of experience in graphic design.
I worked for ~ 2 years in projects related to both graphic design and product design, which motivated me to further develop in the UI/UX.
I also have experience in user research, including conducting interviews, creating and analysing surveys, and processing and presenting results.
I am adaptable and open minded. I’ve lived in 5 countries, volunteered for several human rights organisations, social and culture projects. I enjoy working in a team.
My work principles:
My role is to understand the client’s problem and use my skills and experience to solve it. In my work, I focus on business needs and goal-oriented solutions.
Design solutions should be tailored to the client’s needs and the specifics of the project. Functionality and usability are the first.
Before making changes, it’s essential to understand which elements of a product work well and which need improvement. Only fix what is broken.
