My name is Olga Sidorenko,

I am a Brussels based UX designer.

Helpful to know:

  • I hold a Bachelor's degree in Visual Design from Kuban State University, Russia, and I studied Psychology for 4 years at the Baltic Psychology and Management Institute, Latvia.

  • I transitioned to UX design from about 5 years of experience in graphic design.

  • I worked for ~ 2 years in projects related to both graphic design and product design, which motivated me to further develop in the UI/UX.

  • I also have experience in user research, including conducting interviews, creating and analysing surveys, and processing and presenting results.

  • I am adaptable and open minded. I’ve lived in 5 countries, volunteered for several human rights organisations, social and culture projects. I enjoy working in a team.

My work principles:

  • My role is to understand the client’s problem and use my skills and experience to solve it. In my work, I focus on business needs and goal-oriented solutions.

  • Design solutions should be tailored to the client’s needs and the specifics of the project. Functionality and usability are the first.

  • Before making changes, it’s essential to understand which elements of a product work well and which need improvement. Only fix what is broken.
